<p><strong> •	Choose to have variety in your diet:</strong><br />
Make sure that you eat a variety of foods in your diet so that you will get all types of nutrition. Include in your diet: whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Remember that a vegan diet is the fastest method of losing weight.</p>
<p><strong>•	Control eating sweets:</strong><br />
You need to control your intake of sugar in order to lose weight. Vegetarian food with high sugar increases the weight rather than decreasing it.</p>
<p><strong>•	Take a low calorie diet:</strong><br />
Eat food items that are low in calories if you want to lose weight. This really means, eat more green salads, green vegetables, yellow vegetables, beans and lentils, fruits and starchy vegetables. Avoid eating whole grain bread or flour as it does not help in losing weight rather may cause weight gain. Also avoid white flour, nuts and sodas.</p>
<p><strong>•	Day’s diet plan</strong><br />
For your convenience I am giving you here the balanced vegan diet plan. It is for a whole day’s diet which is extremely effective in weight loss.</p>
<p><strong>•	Breakfast</strong><br />
➢	Have a bowl filled with 3/4th cup of dry rolled oatmeal; add a few berries and if you like maple syrup add one teaspoon of it.<br />
➢	Eat one apple or one orange.<br />
➢	2 cups or one cup of coffee or tea as per your likings.</p>
<p><strong> •	Snacks</strong><br />
If you feel hungry before lunch time you can have these snack items in between.<br />
➢	One or two fruits and/or<br />
➢	Carrot or snap peas or any other snacking vegetables.</p>
<p><strong>•	Lunch</strong><br />
➢	Green salad including cherry tomatoes with vegan dressing which is low in fats.<br />
➢	Steamed broccoli, string beans, asparagus or any such vegetables.<br />
➢	Boiled potatoes or even sweet potatoes with dry seasoning.<br />
➢	One large cup of fruit juice with seltzer that means take 1/4th cup of fruit juice and 3/4th cup of seltzer water.</p>
<p><strong>•	Snacks</strong><br />
➢	Anything leftover from lunch.<br />
➢	1 snack vegetable or fruit<br />
➢	1 cup of coffee or tea as per your choice.</p>
<p><strong> •	Dinner</strong><br />
➢	Green salad with cherry tomatoes.<br />
➢	Steamed vegetables<br />
➢	Low fat vegan dish and<br />
➢	Beer or juice as per your choice.</p>
<p>In vegan diets you can prepare something which is low in fat and can eat it with brown rice. This way you also get to eat rice.<br />
If you strictly follow this diet for one month you will see that you have lost weight miraculously. Even if for any reason you cheat once or twice in the entire month still you will reach your goal. The thing is, small cheats won’t undo everything. Keep in mind that the healthier you eat, the better it is for you.</p>

For the time being you may enjoy it but in the long term if you keep eating the same type of unhealthy food then it will lead to weight gain and other health problems. To have a healthy body it is of utmost importance to keep your weight under control. Here are a few simple yet effective tips to lose at least few kilos.</p>
<p><strong>•    Have the desire to be slim</strong></p>
<p>First of all, to achieve weight loss you should have the desire for it. If you yearn to have a slim and trim body you need to work for it. Decide that you are losing weight not only to look beautiful but also to have a healthy and comfortable body. Once you decide this from the bottom of your heart it will definitely help you to follow other tips. And this is the reason for developing the desire which is essential for weight loss.</p>
<p><strong>•    Lifestyle changes</strong></p>
<p>You need to make a few changes in your lifestyle to move towards your goal. Avoid alcohol and stop smoking, as theses habits make you eat more than required and ultimately add a few kilos to your weight. Avoid eating fatty foods; also avoid oily and spicy food.</p>
<p>Make sure to eat fresh food as it has low salt and sugar compared to processed foods. You must include as much fiber as possible. It not only fills your stomach but also prevents you from eating more spicy and oily food.</p>
<p>While eating, do not eat in haste. Eat slowly for a longer time; say for about 15 to 20 minutes as it will help you to eat less. Chew the food properly to have a good digestion. Do not try to skip your breakfast or any other meal. Skipping one meal leads you to eat a lot at the next meal. Eat several times, in smaller quantities. Drink plenty of water.</p>
<p>Whenever you have cravings for sweets; look at some fruits and have one.</p>
<p><strong>•    Do not rush</strong></p>
<p>Weight loss is a slow process. Do not expect to lose your excess weight in a day or two. It takes longer time depending upon your health and the way you respond to these tips – so do not rush. Have patience and you will succeed. Do not try crash diets, or go running after immediate weight loss. You should always keep yourself busy as loneliness may lead to eating unnecessarily.</p>
<p><strong>•    Each effort is important</strong></p>
<p>The more active you are; the more chance you have to lose your weight in a short period. Using stairs will also contribute to your weight loss. Try to park your car a little farther so that you can walk up to the office. These small efforts also are counted.</p>
