Zoloft (Sertraline) is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic attacks, and posttraumatic stress disorder. It is also used to relieve the symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder, including mood swings, irritability, bloating, and breast tenderness. Sertraline is in a class of medications called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). gas or bloating
loss of appetite
weight changes

excitement
nervousness
shaking hands that you cannot control

Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
