Kissing is not just a science but indeed far more than it. As we know that any two people cannot be exactly same likewise two kisses can never be the same. There are different types of kisses such as: kissing your dad or maybe your grandma shows affection; while kissing the hands of a king or the Pope shows reverence and kissing your life partner builds trust. Deep kissing not only presents your emotions but also it provides you oral health.
Saliva secretion is required for healthy teeth. Kissing causes saliva to be secreted and thus it helps in making your teeth healthy. It protects your teeth naturally. When some particles of food remain in the mouth they form acids that are harmful for your teeth as well as for tooth enamel. When saliva secretion takes place by kissing; these acids are neutralized. Saliva has properties also to fight against bacteria. When bacteria take away your enamel and cause cavities, then the calcium and phosphates which are found in saliva help to rebuild the little gaps from wherever the enamel has been lost.
So it is important that saliva secretion is done constantly. For this your mouth needs to be active. You can keep it active with talking, eating and also kissing. Comparatively kissing causes more movements in the mouth and in the facial area and so it can secrete more saliva than the other two. If you kiss regularly it truly helps you to reduce cavities and also tooth decay with the help of saliva secretion.
How does kissing make your teeth healthy?
Saliva can be secreted in larger amounts by kissing. While kissing, it is secreted more because of the tongue movements; it has been proved that for every minute you kiss nearly one teaspoon of saliva can be produced. And this saliva will work wonders in your mouth like fighting against bacteria, keeping your teeth intact, and reducing cavities as well as tooth decay.
Deep kissing has many oral health benefits. It not only makes your teeth healthy but also makes your mouth and gums healthy. In kissing your saliva gets exchanged and this increases your immunity by creating antibodies for unknown bacteria. And thus kissing helps in fighting infections as well.
Tooth enamel is the toughest substance found in our body which works by protecting the inner part of the tooth. Saliva has mineral salts and it helps in rebuilding the enamel of the tooth and in this way it helps in reducing tooth decay.
Those who don’t have partners to kiss don’t lose your heart; as you can eat chewing gum to secrete saliva in your mouth and that will be helpful for you to keep your teeth clean and healthy.
I was suffering from tooth decay and then soon I got married and I started kissing my wife often and without my realization my teeth started coming back to normal. And the lost enamel also started building up again. Now, I have very healthy teeth and all thanks to my wife.
