• Do not strain your joints repeatedly.
Be watchful about any pain which persists for a longer time. Do not ignore that pain and allow it to get worse. If in your daily routine work you are experiencing any body aches, take action about it. For example, change your chair or change the angle of your work station. Those who work on the computer need to take care of their hands as they can age prematurely.
• Give your joints proper exercise.
This does not mean that you should abuse your joints. Give proper and appropriate exercise to all your joints. If you are regular at exercise then your muscles and joints will grow stronger and more flexible. Light weight exercise is helpful in building denser bones.
• Do not stress your joints with your weight.
Overweight people have the highest possibility of getting affected by arthritis. Excess weight on joints may make them weak. If you work on losing your weight it will lower the chances of developing arthritis.
• Eat for your joints.
If you really care for your joints, avoid eating packaged and processed food. Eat whole and fresh meals. Whole grains are nutritious for your joints. Avoid alcohol as far as possible. Include boron, vitamin C and D in your daily diet to provide your joints with the required nutrition.
• Water plays an important role.
Drink lots of water to keep your body from dehydrating. Water plays a vital role in forming cartilage in joints. It also works as a lubricant to keep the bones from rubbing each other. So keep drinking water without fail. You need to consume minimum 8 ounces of water in a day.
These are the guidelines for you to help you stand out of the crowd who are suffering from arthritis. Think of yourself, what would happen if you are one of them? It is not easy to live with arthritis as it is very painful. With some medicines you can surely reduce that pain but it is very challenging to be independent while suffering from arthritis. So think of this and if you don’t want to lose your freedom to go anywhere without anybody’s physical help; you have to care for your joints. If you start following these guidelines it will be excellent for your future independence.
I do not have this problem on a regular basis; however I have joint pain occasionally. I think if I follow these tips I’ll surely find relief.
